Tiny Apartments – Incredible Design

September 12, 2019
  • Share

Tiny apartments are such a fun topic. As someone who lives in LA, I love having a spacious home and many rooms to decorate. It just feels like a complete space that represents me. Lately, I’ve been browsing some of my favorite interior websites and seeing a lot of small apartment design. It’s incredible how much you can fit in 500 sq feet or less.

I’m in awe at how beautifully these spaces are decorated. You can really get a sense of the person who lives in each space and the functionality of the design. It’s pretty much the ultimate challenge unless you are a minimalist. Let’s check out this collection of awesome designs!

MINIMALIST LOFTED BED + CURATED STUDIO

This room has some stunning architecture. The molding and windows are incredible. I love the use of printed rugs and interesting furniture. This bedroom was crafted by the owner to be a special place for them.

This space has some beautiful details. For such a small space, it is expertly designed to have a strong color palette and design style. At the same time, It’s not too much. I love the addition of plants and subtle use of print + gold.

THE PERFECT SECTION + AN INCREDIBLE CORNER OF A LIVING ROOM

This small apartment was incredibly lucky to be gifted with a decent size square living room. In some cases, a sectional can be the perfect solution to creating a great space. I love the animal print rug, and hints of color through the decor.

The corner of this apartment is simply divine! I love the large leafy plant, the jewel tone rug and chair, and the white + beige chair. The detail of the apartment itself is stunning! That fireplace is such a focal point. The mirror makes this space feel much larger and looks beautiful on top of the fireplace.

PRACTICAL SEATING + VERSATILE COFFEE TABLE ALTERNATIVE

This small dining room space is breathtaking. I love the choice of table, chairs, and rug. Together it looks incredible and cozy. The little touches of art and plants make the space feel complete!

This apartment is a great example of how to deal with a small living room space. Using two small tables as a coffee table allows the space to feel larger and allows flexibility to move them. They also can double as extra seating!

A PLANT LOVER’S PARADISE + A MAGICAL SUNROOM

This small bedroom is packed with details. The shelf of plants + potted plant create such visual interest and make the room feel calm. I love the light pink bedding and abstract artwork. The owner did a great job at creating a cohesive design in a small space.

Talk about incredible spaces! It wouldn’t matter how small the apartment is if this gorgeous sunroom is attached to it. I love the hanging plants, wall decor, and the subtly printed throw pillows. This space is an oasis! Plus it’s perfect for entertaining.

LARGE WINDOW STUDIO + LIVING ROOM NOOK

This small space packs a punch! In this single room, there is a complete living room, bedroom space, and it feels spacious. I love the color palette plus, those giant windows really make this space incredible.

I really enjoy this small living room. The color palette is very minimal but the pops of color make it interesting. The use of an acrylic coffee table is great! It makes the room less crowded feeling.

BLACK AND WHITE

I love this tiny apartment! The use of white, black, and brown is super strong and creates a beautiful space. The patterned rug ties the colors together and is a fun focal point.

This tiny living has a lot going on but, still looks like a cool place to hang out and recharge. I love the windows, couch, and plants. The amount of art and pattern is perfect for this space.

MAKE USE OF EVERY CORNER + TINY KITCHEN INSPIRATION

The corner of the 500 sq foot apartment is great! Having no door or a sliding room to the bedroom is a great way to make the space feel much larger. The use of a mirror also helps create a sense of more space. The plant and photo are great additions that make this apartment feel unique.

I love this tiny kitchen. Many small apartments don’t even have basic kitchen appliances. This kitchen has small-sized appliances and genius storage. Hanging cutting boards on the wall doubles as decor. The open shelving storage on top of the cabinets looks beautiful while being practical.

You are not going to feel motivated every day. AndYou are not going to feel motivated every day. And you don’t have to.
Some days you’ll feel inspired and everything seems to click. Other days, you’ll question what you’re doing and wonder if any of it is actually working.
The important thing is not to mistake a slow day for a step backward.
You can keep going even when the motivation isn’t there. Some days, showing up is the progress.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 🤍

Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.

So today, I took my work somewhere else. ☕️💻
A little change of scenery, a different view, a few hours away from my usual desk and somehow the workday felt a little lighter.
I’ve found that working somewhere else can be a nice reset when I’m feeling stuck, uninspired, or just too used to the same routine. It’s not necessarily about being more productive; sometimes it’s just about making the day feel different.
A little workday change of scenery with me. 🤍
