Prabal Gurung Two Tone Dress – Fall ’15

Who doesn’t love the bold look of two-tone style?  This top and long skirt by top fashion designer Prabal Gurung hits the two color sweet spot. Bold black and white midriff top with a luxurious long skirt. A pre-fall collection look worth studying.  Beautiful classic elegant with a modern edge.  This dress got me to explore all things/places with a two-tone twist.

Happy July 1 to you too Coco! I wanted to let you know I believe I saw your products on tonight’s episode of Jeff Lewis’ “Flipping Out” not just once but throughout the show. I’m almost certain it was the COCOCOZY Logo throw and I believe your Loop pillows on his sofa during the interview sessions with him so the product placement was wonderful.

This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎 This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎
Designer Ashley Montgomery layered reclaimed wood beams, brass hardware, and deep walnut millwork against soft plaster walls, and somehow every single room still feels calm. The olive built-ins in the living room, the arched oak doors, that brass shower enclosure in the primary bath... this is what happens when someone actually commits to a palette.

How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️
I flew from Los Angeles to Nantucket for a very quick trip and I’m planning to find out.
Beautiful beaches, boats, gorgeous interiors, time with friends and one last little dose of August.
Turns out you don’t always need a whole week to feel like you got away. 🤍
So happy to be visiting bestie @francesgfayard and her husband Calvin and my godson Carter for a little last minute end of summer travel. New England at its best. Day 1 was a beautiful day. 🤩
You are not going to feel motivated every day. AndYou are not going to feel motivated every day. And you don’t have to.
Some days you’ll feel inspired and everything seems to click. Other days, you’ll question what you’re doing and wonder if any of it is actually working.
The important thing is not to mistake a slow day for a step backward.
You can keep going even when the motivation isn’t there. Some days, showing up is the progress.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 🤍

Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.

So today, I took my work somewhere else. ☕️💻
A little change of scenery, a different view, a few hours away from my usual desk and somehow the workday felt a little lighter.
I’ve found that working somewhere else can be a nice reset when I’m feeling stuck, uninspired, or just too used to the same routine. It’s not necessarily about being more productive; sometimes it’s just about making the day feel different.
A little workday change of scenery with me. 🤍
Would you take your work somewhere else for the day?
