WORK SPACE STORAGE – GLASS DOOR CABINETS!

May 24, 2012

home craft and sewing room with glass door cabinets to store excess fabrics and other materials

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about work space storage…and then I came across this picture of a home craft and sewing room. I like these glass door cabinets – not that expensive and they keep things on shelves looking well contained.

Ikea – Hemnes Glass Door Cabinet – $260 (above)

Do you have any good ideas for home office or work space storage?  How do you keep things looking neat in your home?

Happy Thursday!

    Hi Coco,

For office organization I stick with book shelves and filing cabinets. Was looking around the office to see if there was anything interesting being used for storage but unfortunately not!
Can`t wait to see what you do with your Beverly Hills office!

    🙂

I love a tidy space, so I’m all for decluttering and giving everything a home. Baskets always work best with open shelves or cabinets. And LOVE the open display shelves popping up everywhere! Here are a few projects I recently completed {still have so many others on my to do list, but have been too busy to do them}: http://www.conciergecouture.com/search/label/hot%20nest
    Keep up the great work!!!

Great idea for storage, especially when you have fun prints and textiles to display 🙂

im so scared of glass doors because then i have to tidy up my mess! but it does at least look curated that way – like you want people to see it, right? lol

Love the glass door idea. I would use it because keeping it neat and clean would always be on my mind! It would force me to having the shelves look great plus putting cute pops of color books or vases in there is always a nice touch!

I am in love with glass cabinets and have been blogging about them too! Love how they can corral the clutter and force you to stay neat and tidy.

This is a brilliant idea. I always struggle with the idea of boxing everything up to keep dust off as I like to see my craft materials. I have been using clear plastic boxes but I think this is an even better alternative.

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤
