home Hues of green will be very popular during the fall and winter seasons. Dark olive, in particular, is a color to watch out for when it comes to interior design. It’s the perfect shade to add richness to a room. If you are looking to spice up your kitchen then I would recommend an olive green kitchen. Paint your cabinets with a dark hue to create a luxurious and warm look. No matter what style you want to design your kitchen after, olive green can get the job done. If you’re still unsure about painting your kitchen green, then check out the three reasons why you should just in time for fall!

interiors It is all about interior paint today at the COCOCOZY Design House. This 1930 built Spanish Colonial Revival needed brightening up on the interior so I went with the cleanest brightest
Benjamin Moore color I could find. I used
Super White OC-152 throughout the house with dark trim and few spots even boast a wonderful teal color as well that I used on the
exterior doors. Here’s a look on how the remodel project shaped up vis a vis interior paint colors…

style Just in time for Halloween, I bought a few pumpkins the other day in a plan to decorate for fall. But as I brought them home, I noticed they clashed with the other colors. The orange didn’t really match my house so I decided to just changed the color of the pumpkins!
I decided on a hunter green, mist green and a powdery blue for my little pumpkins. And it worked out. This little pumpkin makeover perfectly matched my decor.
Check out how I did it below! If you’re looking for a jack-o-lantern how to…I took a much simpler route to making these pumpkins my own!
home My friend and fellow blogger Nicole Gibbons just launched her own paint company a few months back named Clare Paint, and it is already making a name for itself in the paint world.
I met Nicole 10 years ago when we were part of the first wave of design bloggers. She was a PR executive, blogging on the side, and then she quit her job to become a full time influencer and interior designer too. She and I became friends and always have made a point to meet up whenever either of us is in the other’s hometown. She is smart, stylish and a true boss lady! I am so happy for her. She came up with an idea and then raised $2M!!!
home As far as exterior color goes, the house in this first picture is my inspiration for the color scheme on the exterior of the COCOCOZY Design House! The inspiration house was designed by my COCOCOZY Design House partner, amazing real estate developer, Steve Jones of BetterShelter
I am in the process of picking all the exterior colors for the renovation of the stunning 1860-square-foot Spanish style home built in 1930 in the heart of View Park, LA. I have never had to make so many decisions in such a short amount of time other than right now. We started actual construction the first ever COCOCOZY Design House in the middle of April — and since then, I have been running around like crazy!!! Arghhhhh.
One of the decisions that was easiest for me was picking Benjamin Moore as the exclusive paint partner for the project. The Benjamin Moore team was nice enough to give me all of the paint for both interior and exterior of the home. I felt honored that this brand was open to the idea of working with me and my team on this inaugural COCOCOZY Design House.
interiors We’ve talked about dreamy freestanding tubs before, but now I want to chat about two-toned clawfoot tubs!
I just bought a vintage clawfoot tub for my latest design project — and like most of my finds, it’s in great shape but needs just a bit of refurbishing.
Full disclosure, I never in my life thought I would want a clawfoot tub… it seemed a little too quaint for me. Never say never, I guess, because now I’m obsessed with the idea of having a two-toned clawfoot bathtub — black and white in particular.
Below I’ve rounded up some of my favorite photos of the trend for inspiration!
interiors Spring days call for Spring Gray!
I keep spotting rooms, architecture, and home accessories with gray accents — and I just love how the typically-drab color is being used to make other colors (including white!) pop.
Incorporating gray can keep your space sleek, neutral, and of course, oh-so cozy!
