Lately, I have been guilty of dreaming of English Homes for Sale. Does anyone else enjoy browsing house listings and thinking about your life there? It can’t be just me! Years ago I thought I was going to move to London for a bit. I was between jobs and started the process. Before I got too far along in my plans a recruiter reached out here and I never ended up leaving. On a recent trip, I went outside of London and learned I would love to own a home in the English Countryside or suburbs one day.

Today I’m covering an incredible Manhattan townhouse dining room. Created by legendary interior designer Sheila Bridges, this dining room is expertly designed! The home is extremely luxe and refined in style. The dining room stood out to me because of its unique design. The mix of colors, styles, and furniture creates a completely unique space. Instead of just showing you the dining room – I paired fall dresses to wear to a gathering at this home. Whether brunch, a long afternoon lunch, or a formal dinner these are the perfect dresses to wear! 

One thing I love posting about is celebrity home tours. When I ran across a tour of Liv Tyler’s West Village Townhouse I knew I had to cover it! A look inside Liv Tyler’s whimsical and beautifully designed townhouse! This stunning townhouse was entirely redone and was a historical renovation. They did an amazing job at adding custom molding, woods floors, pocket doors and more! This house tour is so good that it inspired two other post ideas that are now on my list! 

This gorgeous colorful Spanish colonial home is located in Franklin Hills. It was designed by Reath Design! When I ran across this home tour I was immediately intrigued by how well this home does color. This home is full of bold color choices and prints. I didn’t think it was possible to create a home with so much going on but this house makes it look easy. It’s not my go-to style but it’s incredibly beautiful and brilliantly designed. The darker feel to the home is perfect for the fall season! 

Today is a stunning West Coast House Tour. There is nothing quite like a beachy neutral designed home. While I may never own one I could look at images of them all day. The owner of this breathtaking home is the owner of the natural skincare line Lesse. It’s very clear that the owners of this home embrace the neutral color palette in all aspects of life. This Tudor House Tour is a spectacular home in LA. I love hearing about renovations and bringing old homes back to life which is exactly what happened to this home. The original idea was to re-do this home back to its original glory but after some work, a lot of structural issues came up. They got a bit more than they bargained for but were able to really customize this space to their needs. The final design turned out amazing! 

I need to plan a fall getaway!  San Francisco is calling my name.  I have lots of friends up north and a cousin too.  I definitely have the bay area on my mind these days!  San Francisco has a wonderful array of short term rental homes perfect for a vacation or longer stay! San Francisco has been on my mind lately and I’ve been spending some time looking into rentals. I discovered during my research that San Francisco is trying to shut down the number of rental properties like this so there are much fewer listings than in previous years. But not to worry! I found a handful of great spaces at various price points. Let’s check these homes out!

I have been a fan of Kate Marker Interiors for years. I constantly run into images of her work online and am immediately attracted to them. I will stumble upon an image that I’m in love with – the style, colors, textures, etc. just speak to me, when I look at the credits every time its Kate’s work. When I saw her start posting photos of @TheLeoCottage I knew I would have to share it with all of you. If you haven’t seen her work before you have been missing out.
