As someone who loves to travel and explore new places and cultures I find myself traveling often in order to feed that side of my soul. Looking back on some of my favorite travels I realized I often go back to my favorite destinations. A new goal for myself is to travel to new places. Dream to Travel is a new series and it will be showcasing my dream vacations as someone who hasn’t been before. I’m looking forward to starting a conversation on travel, experience, and learning from you! Now onto Morocco! 

I have been a fan of Kate Marker Interiors for years. I constantly run into images of her work online and am immediately attracted to them. I will stumble upon an image that I’m in love with – the style, colors, textures, etc. just speak to me, when I look at the credits every time its Kate’s work. When I saw her start posting photos of @TheLeoCottage I knew I would have to share it with all of you. If you haven’t seen her work before you have been missing out.

I have been DROOLING over pink interior images on Instagram for months! These designs beautifully combine multiple shades of pink into an unusual and fun space.  I hope you are as intrigued and mesmerized by these images as I am. I have a handful of incredible interiors to share with you.

Recently, House Beautiful highlighted two of the COCOCOZY Design House bedrooms in a house tour feature story.  As you know I was so thrilled to see my design work on such a prestigious site.  The COCOCOZY Design House has a total of four bedrooms. It was so much fun dreaming up each room and making it come to life.   When I was thinking about bedding for the COCOCOZY Design House, the only bedding I wanted was Pom Pom at Home. I have their bedding in my current master bedroom so I knew the style and quality was a perfect fit for this design project.

Happy President’s Day!  More on the COCOCOZY Design House.  Today the focus is furnishings in the living room and dining room.  One of our partners for the COCOCOZY Design House is Article. They provided us with furniture for the living and dining room. Modern furniture with clean simple lines as the foundation was what I was looking for when decorating these spaces. I started with the basics a good sofa, great armchairs and substantial dining table, then the rest was easy…

Still pinching myself over the House Beautiful article about the COCOCOZY Design House! Now time for more detail about kitchen and bathroom counters. Last year, I showed you my countertop selection.

As you might recall, Caesarstone, one of the COCOCOZY Design House partners, generously supplied all of the counter material for the kitchen and the bathrooms and I am so happy with my picks:  Statuario Maximus for kitchen and Pure White for the master and 2 other bathrooms!

So excited to share a few photos of the completed COCOCOZY Design House! Today, was so excited that House Beautiful decided to do an exclusive house tour of this remodel project I have been working on for almost 10 months. Last year, I bought the house and started remodeling it in April. Now, here it is, a 1930 classic Spanish Colonial Revival nestled in the hills of Los Angeles in an enclave called View Park.
