They possess a unique ability to bathe a space in natural light and infuse it with character from the very first step inside. However, I find myself grappling with a dilemma—should I opt for a glass front door? Lately, I have been contemplating this question. On one hand, there is the concern of sacrificing privacy, but on the other hand, there is the allure of increased illumination. Is safety a potential issue? And what about the importance of style? These are the thoughts that have been occupying my mind. So take a look at the round-up of beautiful glass front doors.

The featured image is a beautiful design from a Greek Revival home in Upstate New York. Sometimes old is just as good as new…maybe even better! The dark wood staircase adds a unique contrast to the off-white wall color. And we can’t ignore that dramatic chandelier by Murano Palmette. A beautiful combination of old mixed with new design.

However, I know that’s not everyone else’s design style. So I went on the hunt to find different interior designers’ take on a timeless primary bathroom design. interiorsI adore charming cottage renovations. Mainly, because I lived in a small cottage in Los Angeles. So when I see a uniquely renovated cottage it piques my interest. I discovered this lovely home in House & Garden. This pale stone cottage, with its charming turrets and gables inspired by Scottish castles, has undergone a remarkable renovation that seamlessly blends history with modern design. Influenced by her Norwegian roots and years in Portugal, the current owner has transformed this cottage into a practical yet aesthetically pleasing home for her family. Each room has intricate details using vintage materials and elegant wallpapers. The owner collaborated with Gloucestershire-based architect Christian Fleming to help expand the property to fit her four children comfortably. The 16th-century cottage feels like it came from a fairytale. Scroll below to see the rest of the home.
